Peter Alexander is leaving the NBC News network. Alexander announced the news on the Today show Saturday morning. Alexander is a 20-year veteran of NBC News and has been chief White House correspondent for the network since 2023. He has worked as a national correspondent for NBC since 2012 and co-anchored the Saturday edition of Today since 2018. Alexander was working there on Jan. 6, 2021 amid the Capitol riot.
