The Asian University Basketball League has completed a Series A funding round. It features colleges from Asia and is helmed by Alibaba co-chairman and Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai. Yao Ming, David Blitzer and Marc Lasry are among the investors. The league will host its 2026 tournament in Hangzhou, China. It will also debut a 16-school, home-and-away season starting in November and running through April 2027.
